Areas of Specialty: Retirement planning; tax planning; life transition planning (separation & divorce, family farm transitions, career change)
I spent the first part of my career with wealth management firms, both public and private. In 2017, I shifted my focus entirely to financial planning, letting go of the investment management side to concentrate on what I do best: helping people make confident decisions about their money.
I work with clients who want to combine technical knowledge with their own goals to create a plan that makes their lives better. When you understand your current situation—your risks and your opportunities—you'll use your money in ways that are meaningful to you. Money is a tool to reach your goals, not the goal itself.
My aim is that you arrive at life's milestones without surprises. When we've examined the mechanics of saving, spending, and taxes in the context of what matters to you, you'll know what's likely to happen and what steps you can take. That clarity takes the stress out of money decisions, so you can confidently focus on the rest of your life.
